What a horrible name for a movie but what do you expect? I was 10. I think this was the first time I fell in love with filmmaking. Shot on my dad’s old Super 8, this film had all the makings of a blockbuster hit. Secret lairs, terrorist plots, special effects (shooting a bottle rocket from a drain spout), and a full blown Hollywood score composed by me on my little DX100 keyboard. My best friend and co-star’s Mom, had a lady lay it off to videotape for us and sync it up with my soundtrack recorded on cassette tape. It was only a second or so out of sync and we were thrilled. I still have that film in my office. Ask me and maybe I’ll show you sometime.
